The Polyester Poplin Shirt Fabric, on the other hand, targets classic business and everyday wear scenarios. This 50/50 polyester-cotton blend combines the natural comfort of cotton with the wrinkle resistance and quick-drying properties of polyester. We strongly advise confirming the greige fabric appearance before dyeing and carefully controlling tension during setting to avoid shading variations or left-center-right color differences caused by uneven fiber direction.

• Durability of Water Repellency on Pongee: The water-repellent and windproof properties of the Polyester Pongee Shirt Fabric are achieved through mechanical finishing rather than coating, which preserves breathability but offers lower durability compared to laminated alternatives. For end uses involving moderate to high outdoor exposure, we recommend requesting an additional C6 water-repellent treatment during the setting stage to improve wash-fastness.

• Cutting and Sewing Tips for Poplin: The Polyester Poplin Shirt Fabric contains 50% polyester, giving it higher thermoplasticity than pure cotton. When fusing interlinings during cutting, we suggest lowering the pressing temperature to the 150°C–160°C range and shortening the pressing time. This prevents the adhesive from melting through to the face side, which can cause surface shininess or unwanted stiffness.
